For what's it's worth, since we got the coinstar machine where I work it's been gettin a good workout. Our customers love it. My boss still says we get 3% of the take, I want to ask our regional VP when I see him to confirm this. The machine seems to get plenty of service from coinstar people and armed service, I still can't figure how they will have a net profit on such a small gross.

Gerald,

I was reviewing a Basline profile for CSTR today and noticed that the First Call estimates for this quarter are -$.49.

Is this what you have seen as well? It seems to me that since last quarter's earnings came in at -$.47, that we might see a number slightly better than that for this quarter. I also noted from the Baseline report that First Call for the quarter ending March 98 is also listed as -$.49.

Is the current expansion growth keeping earnings flat for three quarters?

Appreciate any comments you may have.
