While I have not always agreed with Zeev, I insist he has a right to say it, & SI is not better off with him stricken from posting. I inquired of him as to why, and here is his reply. You be the judge and if you agree that at least he deserves to be contacted and querried, then perhaps a word of support to the Webmistress would help.

Jim: I do not think I run afoul of SI. It is very simple. As part of
trying to find out who might have an interest in Light Therapies, my new
venture, I have contacted a number of people on SI (just as I have
contacted you). I limit these contacts only to people with whom I have
"cyber-discussions".

However, as part of a campaign to eradicate "naysayers" from the the RMIL
thread, the "gang" leader there, G. Riley, has posted my E-mail missive
publicly on the RMIL thread (I never sent him the message since I would
not want to have him as an investor, I know not where he got it), I asked
him to remove it and he refused, then I suggested to another poster that
this post should be removed since I do not want to even have the
appearance of publicly posting about the venture. He contacted the
webmistress and apparently she informed him (she has yet to contact me
and hear my side of the story) that I am violating SI rules. That is all
that I know.

I could understand her position if it was shown that I contacted people I
have never had cyber-discussions with or on threads in which I am not
active. But I limited my contacts to interlocutors and thread posters
where I am active and where more than once people have mentioned that
they appreciate my postings.

Thank you for inquiring. A lot of people have e-mailed me to ask why I
have stopped posting, but it is not in my hands. If you can change Jill's
opinion, I would appreciate it, but it is certainly not a matter of life
and death for me. I trully believe that the various thread where I have
participated have benefited from my comments more than I have benefited
from the occasional flamings (g).

Thank you for pleading my case with the Webguardian.

Have a happy and prosperous new year.
