<< LU still has very little networking geer. INTC also has very little. >>

That only means it's not factored into the price yet, right?

When it is obvious that INTC and LU are big threats to COMS the price will have to be adjusted downward.

Glenn

I looked at your bio and noticed that we share some "favorite" stocks:
ASND INTC CSCO COMS

The subscriptions I read (WSJ and LA Times) discuss some "beat up" stocks and stocks that one "should" have in their portfollio - CSCO and INTC make these lists.

I do not see where anyone is touting COMS and (especially) ASND.

What is your take on these two stocks? Is ASND still a "favorite". Can these companies compete with CSCO?

JRM

Glen, when you fail to execute you allow opportunities for other companies. Before the USRX merger 45% of 3COMS revenue was from ethernet cards, 45% is a lot! INTC makes ethernet cards and with less chips. INTC also makes hubs and has stated that they want to offfer a complete networking solution. LU also has said that they are planning to buy at leasr 20 or more networking companies this year.

If you dont see competition increasing in the future, go and buy some more. These companies were giving this opportunity because the small niche companies like COMS, FORE and ASND failed to execute.

The object of investing is trying to look into the future and I repeat, I cant see COMS competing against giants.
