Well, go back and study how the "gold standard" affected our economy in the past before you blame too much bad stuff on getting off it. William Jennings Bryan or Bryant was NOT a fan of the gold standard if I remember correctly. I think he talked about a Cross of Gold or something like that. I think YOU would have been a BIG FAN of his at the time he was making his argument. You're just the kind a guy that would have LOVED HIM. He was sort of the original Bernie Sanders.....
