One Terabyte of THANK YOUS to you.

I appreciate very much your help for this. Sometimes just a that will work...you can do it , is worth more than, well I just want you to know how helpful you are to folks like me.

I will install the Win 10 as you suggest, I realize it will take some time and some thought to complete.

But the Dual Boot, I know it will not take much time and is fairly simple, but the only way I have knowledge of is to try to press <del> or F12 or whatever it is in the 4 ms time interval allowed before it starts the bootup process and then modify the boot order in the BIOS, which surely must be in ROM on the motherboard. That's all I know and I know that I should know more than this. I do know my BIOS is not the latest generation that they made a much more modern BIOS for PCs after my motherboard was made although it is not really that old. Other than this lack of basic knowledge I do know how to do other stuff or at least can figure out how.

Any idea of some easy way to startup with a choice, that Linux Mint 17 did a really slick move and I think it partitioned the drive to make room for two OSs on one drive along with a system area as well. I am not sure you can see these inside windows system or even inside linux, but one probably can, I am just ignorant. It might be easiest to just install Mint and see if it can find two Windows OSs and do it right. It's like automatic.

Thank you again.
