It will be fun in the way that the people in the 1930s had fun when Hitler was rising to power and turning one person against another and having his jackbooted thugs beat up people who resisted him. We can already see the specter of Hitler and Stalin. Hitler forced neighbor to spy on neighbor and turn in anyone who they think is a Jew or non-Aryan or be beaten or arrested. And Stalin who did the same and killed over 20 million of his citizens. We can see it with this shooting. Trump is so crazy and so irresponsible he is sort of like Stalin and Hitler light, or maybe not light if he got full power. One can see him being elected and telling people they should spy on their Muslim neighbors and report to the police anything that's suspicious. Think of how crazy it is not only does he want to forbid Muslims from coming in, he wants us to spy on each other, and then there's the Hispanics he is going to want people to turn on illegals. All of this is a recipe for complete chaos and destruction. It is terrible that the Republican Party refuses to see how dangerous this whole thing is with Trump, or worse do and over look it. I'm reminded of a few posts I've made in the past about how Heinrich Himmler's granddaughter who was writing a biography of him said her biggest disappointment was that not a single member of her family rose up against Hitler. This also harkens back to the witch trials, when people would report suspicious people, they would have a trial and if found guilty be burned at the stake. And all through the darkened Middle Ages it was the same sort of horrible things that took place. And as you well know, that is the reason that one of the very first things our founding fathers did when they were forming a new country and the Constitution was to address habeas corpus.
