Their behavior has improved I must say from the days of blaming Intel for everything, but it appears that their Zen promotion is following the same pattern as Barcelona and Bulldozer before it. Over promise and under deliver. Your behavior has not changed. Barcelona and BD were of the same family design. They were manufactured and available. It is quite well known they were deficient in cache structure, threading, pipe length and probably other things. It is also known that Zen is a complete new design that's been in the works for several years. you could buy AMD on the sly and not tell your fellers? GF 14nm gpu chips over 200^mm RX480 boards are due to be released June 29, 2016. What will you do if that happens smoothly?
