You don't think Trump's backing away from the NRA position on gun sales to those on no fly list, etc didn't scare the shit out of the gun huggers??? This is a true story......there is a small unpretentious gun and ammo shop on a two lane road in this village. Just looks like an old Cape Cod house. The day Obama won his reelection I happened to drive buy and couldn't understand why cars were parked up an down both sides of that road and it was that way for at least two days. To satisfy my curiosity I parked up the road and walked back to find a line waiting to get in the shop and when I went in the door someone behind the counter told me the line extended back through another room. What was striking about the whole scene were the racks AR15's being sold.....that's why they were all there.... Take my wife, take my kids, but don't try to take my AR15.... Paranoia??? Buying them because they're gay? Fuck no, maybe a few but it's the people I described above that are panicking with the control talk in congress and Trump's vacillating comments...
