What do you mean "unexpected" ? You expect it and I expect it and the weather news expects it. Here is why it is expected. Things happen like a strong ridge of high pressure. When they do there is a weather event. So we expect high temperatures in the SW. Bottom line is it will be real hot in the SW caused by this strong ridge of high pressure. Sooooooo accuweather.com
