I think Tenchu holds his nose, lays back and thinks of the good of the party. The Republicans have been doing this for decades. Compromising principle to gain and maintain power is all they have left. Which handily explains Trump. Which is not to say the Democrats are faultless in this. The New Democrats as embodied by the Clintons, although not restricted to them, proves that. They just haven't sold all of their soul to the Devil. Yet. So there may be hope for them yet. I don't hold much hope for the Republicans.
