<< i have never seen a company reverse split and not continue to go down.>>

I have been following a company named Cooper (symbol: COO) which was in trouble during the early 90's and reverse split its stock a few years ago 1 for 3. The company has turned around and is up nearly 400% since then and still growing fast.

Data Dimensions (DDIM) did a 1 for 10 reverse split a few years ago and the stock skyrocketed splitting later 3 for 1 (granted - on Y2K hype).

A reverse split is not always a good shorting indicator.
