John, I have seen this sort of thing happen before and it is not always irreversible. Several of us who know Zeev and appreciate his insight can probably induce a reversal of the silencing by writing to the webmistress. If we indicate a positive point of view in his behalf and the feeling that his interaction on the GRNO thread was invaluable and request that he be given an opportunity to participate who knows, maybe they will reconsider. I have seen a few posters reinstated in the past. I don't know what rules might have been broken, but if we ask for him to be given an opportunity to return maybe they will give him another chance.
