Seriously off topic

I love Bertrand Russell. He was one of my father's favorite writers as well. The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius also impressed me a great deal. I have an affinity for Camus (but not Sartre). Camus was a humanist frequently mistaken for an existenialist. I have found Eastern religious writings to be fascinating. I love literature, and everything I have read has shaped me. But I have read a lot, and I'm not sure which texts were most influential. If you were reading my post about ubermensch I must stress that JF and I have a long history of sparring over my philosophical beliefs (which he believes are non-existent) and the post was a joke. I am an agnostic, tolerant of all but the intolerant.
