I thought about asking definition on “newer”; but then realized newer means what is not older. Older would be the stocks listed before, bought and sold per rules, stocks that were listed but not bought because one or the other conditions was not met- market was not favorable, stock did not trigger with a bullish bar and headed down promptly. It is admirable to have 60% profit objective and come close to achieving it. I have not been able to achieve my goal of 10% plus the rate of inflation. Some of your holdings are easy to guess- B, 15, 7. I cannot guess your other holdings. You would not have bought 6 which was never given a list price. You would not have bought 2 which I bought and sold for 2% gain; or 18 which also I bought and has done nothing since given a listed price. I have nothing else to do so I go back and check what happened in past. What I don’t get is how the consistently successful among us avoided the losers. I will not list all the losers over past 8 years, but look at the ones from last 12 months- could have been bought when there was no reason not to buy and resulted in: 1- 15% gain 2- 10% loss 3- 5-10% loss 4- 10% loss 5- Not triggered, listed at 36, headed down to 5.59 6- 10% loss 7- 15% gain 8- 10% loss, back on stage but would not call it newer 9- 10 and 11- listed on same day and all turned losers 12- 3% gain big stock highly praised again but would not call it newer either 13 and 14- listed same day; breakeven and 10% loss 15-10% gain 16- no trigger 17- 15% gain 18- your big winner up 60% and heading higher 19- no trigger, fell from cliff 20- 20% gainer holding well 21- still no list price but some have good gains holding up well 22- 10% loss 23- 5 to 15% gains and sell. I am still holding it 24- sold for near breakeven 25- has done nothing 26- 25% up heading higher. I wisely avoided it. I know this last market signal has proved profitable. I have excellent realized profits ( for portfolio, not just the stocks) and have some unrealized gains which fluctuate widely from day to day I am only about 65% invested, one newer and two not newer stocks. Sorry for all of above. Congratulations for your admirable success and thanks for each and all of your posts. Best regards.
