As a test just replaced a 60W halogen light ( 110V 50/60 Hz -in some track lighting) w/ a GU10LED 7W replacement bulb. The GU10 fitting worked fine but bulb was just a bit longer than the one replaced. It still fit in the metal housing.

I choose the Daylight 5000K which is a brighter whiter light (above cool light). Lumens 500 .

Got these from Amazon.com through their vendor www.torchstar.us
7W Dimmable GU10 LED Light Bulb, Replace 60W Halogen, UL-listed 5000K Daylight LED Spotlight, 500lm 36 Degree Beam Angle GU10 Base 110V for Home, Recessed, Accent, Landscape, Track Lighting

Paid $8.76/each free shipping.

The Daylight is quite bright but is focused to shine on computer desk workstation. The halogen light it replaced was more of a yellow soft light.

I would go w/ the soft lights for most everything but I like the bright Daylight on the desk as I can read paper documents better. It does not make my three computer screens anymore difficult to view.

I have other halogen and bulb lights I would like to replace but finding the correct connector and size that fits into housing/fixture can pose a problem.
