hello Ed,<Quite spectacular timing with that last buy!> I did get lucky.Called my broker at 8:45 when I got home at 10:30 there was confirmation on my machine. I still am a bit confused as to the market hours in VC(even with the time difference). As far as my "simple" calculations,I realize we are talking apples and oranges,regarding contract areas and contract specifics(% of a 3 well program vs.% of a contract area). I would love to be able to read the details of HEC most recent farm outs(ie.6.4%). I wonder if the new participants are entiled to keep taging along "after the 3 wells" are drilled,or if this is solely HECs decision..Harken is driving some pretty hard bargains these days-we can be assured we certainly wouldn't get the same deal today,as we did previously<g>..DD Question can ROH farmout a % of they're 25% of the Alcaravan contract area, or even bits and pieces of individual wells? As you can see,I'm trying to figure out what buyout value we are really holding,if someone wanted our piece of the apple. I believe $8.00US per share,is not realistic,but not improbable either(maybe not to HEC,but posssibly another third party)..DD PS: it is rare,that a little company like ROH ends up sitting in the catbird seat<vbg>..
