David;

I'm new to this thread by virtue of the cycle rolling over. If your interested you can catch all of my up cycle posts on the IPEC thread.
I didn't wan't to continue to clutter the Moores law threads with macro
stuff specific to the industry and not a particular company. This thread has an industry theme. Few on SI do.

It stands to reason that the Bears are comming out. After all, prices and margins are plummiting. Should the theme of this thread be "Semi-Equips; Buy at historical average P/Es PSRs and P/Bs? If this is the case there may be an interest in that theme. For now, there are currently more sell side Buys on AMAT than holds and Sells! The bulls
confirm my my bearish sentiment even more. Look for 1X revenue, NOT 2.4X

Good luck,

Jay

TECHNICAL ALERT...AMAT sell signal.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
chart2.bigcharts.com:80/chart?time=7&freq=1&uf=32&lf=...
Sorry to come on this way, but my analysis of the amat chart suggests it will drop to near $22 now that it's reached resistence. My timetable for the 22 target is within 2 weeks. I suspect 2-3 day sudden drop.
On a positive note, $22 is possibly the low for amat during this bear market.
