The bottom line no matter which way you read it is that the NC is not about to generate significant revenues anytime in the next two - three years and may become at the end of the day...just one of those toys that came with a bang and left with a bang.

Regardless, ORCL fundamentals remain strong in my opinion. Who cares about 50% growth when the stock is trading in the low $20's. At least it is no longer trading in the high $30's or low $40's. The market cap. at $21 - $27 billion seems reasonable in comparison to other software companies.

On a technical basis, I am expecting ORCL to trade in the $21 - $26 range for some time to come with a possible move by mid-year. I doubt we will see anything beyond $35 in 1998 unless takeover rumors surface.

I think we will see a quick spurt of $2 - $3 in a single day (anyday now) and that will take ORCL between the range of $25 - $26. The charts clearly indicate the trend.

On a final note, everyone MUST realize that in NO WAY will the 1998 high on ORACLE be seen as $22 - $22 1/2 which is what it might close at today and on the last day of 1997. I believe that we will see it in the $30's range at some point in 1998. For this reason, a buy today has the potential to return just under 50% on your investment. The pros are going to realize this soon so better buy before the herd comes charging in.
