I haven't posted here for a while and some things I've been thinking about doesn't add up, so I need some help. This MCMS sale doesn't add up to me for certain reasons; yet does for other reasons, now please bear with me here. Nov. 5 MUEI's P.R. dept. stated their buying Alcatel Bell's Belgium facility for the MCMS division for an un-enclosed amount. Press release said the facility was approx. 85,000 sq. ft. and they planned on hiring 100 people for the facility (no mention of work force already there). Anyone that is good at picking apart the 10Q for the acquisition price, please do so and let us know. Now back to my point (if I have one) why did Muei sell this unit after just making this acquisition of Alcatel Bell? We know what MUEI is selling this unit for (270 mil) but what did they pay for Alcatel Bell. Why would you acquisition any company; and less than 2 mos. sell off that division (something is a rye my friends) especially when you have good margins in this business. I will put my neck on the line and, I sure as hell don't have any inside information (only 900 shares @ $16) but MUEI is being courted to the dance by whom I do not know. I will put some guesses though; they don't want the MCMS division and I would guess they don't want the Spec tek dram division either... but they do want the PC division!!!!!!!! Muei will be gobbled up, but at what price is a good question.

P.S. Moneymaker good post although I'm afraid that good volume with low margins and excessive inventory is not a good receipe to follow!!
