The right wing is not hateful - you're thinking of the left wing fascists who believe everyone should be compelled by law to believe the way they do, while attempting to destroy our rights so they can enforce their beliefs on the people. I find it astounding that the left wing, I grew up with, that feared big government has now embraced big government and over regulation as a means to control everyone and create the utopia they dreamed of in the 60's. It's like they took 1984 and Animal Farm as manuals not warnings.
