Why Trump’s Numbers Are Likely to Get Worse The good news for Trump is that for now he is only 12% behind Shrillary nationally according to a recent Bloomberg poll. The bad news is that he will fall further behind once the ad campaign gets into full gear. There is only one reason any sane person would vote for either of these candidates, and that is the other candidate. Since neither of them have any other redeeming qualities, attack ads will predominate. Despite her long record of corruption and incompetence, Shrillary appears to have the upper hand.
