Yes I am sure he did not trust her alone in the stadium. Even at a baseball game in Oakland there is opportunity crime... as the multitudes of cops stand around texting, and talking to each other. I know multiple people who have had their backpacks and cellphones stolen from their seats when they weren't paying attention. Most people are good, but a small group sees "good people" as chumps. Thus "over protective" fathers?
