I went to Frys(a local electronics superstore) a week before christmas several times. I noticed creaf had alot of display space, basically an isle endcap for each of their products. One thing concerned me, I dont think thier products were moving. The shelf space was always full and neat. If any of you visited one of these stores one thing you would notice is the blown out look of the computer components section. Dvd's(encore)were stacked high every day I was there, there was no creaf product shortage. In the mist of empty shelf space was a stack of creaf products. I admit I didnt ask a salesman for numbers(I wish I did), and I only visted this one store. Did anyone else notice over availablity of product elsewhere.

what would be the effect of slow product movement during christmas to accounting? would it be as simple as high sales recorded for this qtr and a buildup in inventory next? When is a sale, a sale to creaf(when product reaches distribution channel?).

If you like what Bill has to say 'bout the immiment future of DVD.....

...then how would you like to own shares in a company that has the following products and has a P/E that is below freezing (in F)

(1) Number One Rated PCDVD-ROM Drive (see previous posts regarding Jan. Issue of PCWorld)
(2) Best PRICE for a PCDVD-ROM Drive
(3) PCDVD-RAM Drive sitting on the sidelines (as I witnessed at COMDEX) with a purposeful low key approach - just waiting to pounce on the market at a traditionally evolutionary price.

Me, I love it. And I'm only looking at their DVD line. In other words, I'm not even factoring in the other 64 cylinders that this Jaquar is purring at. Just sit back. Like Sim said, "You ain't seen nothing, yet."
