"What the Democrats are fighting for will not disarm terrorists," It will take it more difficult for them to buy guns and explosives.Who knows? There might be a black market dealer patriotic enuf to turn in a buyer. The dealer might even turn out to be an undercover agent. "but may disarm some law abiding citizens." It won't disarm anybody, and it won't keep an law-abiding citizens from buying a gun. It might mean they have to wait an extra week to purchase one. "Assuming it wasn't a justified shooting, the right was violated by the shooter." The shooter is the beloved of the NRA; until the trigger is actually pulled, of course.
