Peter, I was thinking back to early summer when the (then) cementheads were taking insider-selling as a sure sign of the top when the stock was trading around a split-adjusted $25. As Barton Biggs wrote this week, "Even the most rabid bulls can never anticipate how far a move can go when a virtuous cycle takes hold." How true. He was using it to contrast a bear cycle and how the most bearish underestimate how far the move can go when a vicious cycle takes hold. As most know, Barton Biggs is very bearish on the market. I agree with him this time.
