I understand that Watts thing BC. I was working in LA at the time of the Watts riots...after they burned the whole area. I, stupidly, drove down there, by myself one weekend to see the damage. My old car died right in the middle of Watts and I'm out there trying to at least push it over to the curb, hoping not to get shot. Three black guys show up and I know I'm dead. This is it. But instead, they help me push the car for a block up the street to a black run gas station which had somehow survived the riots and fires. The black mechanic fixed whatever was wrong with my car and told me this probably wasn't a good time for no sight seein'.

Go back to LA he said. I did.

Did I ever even imply that racism was a white only thing?

It isn't. Now John has made it clear that he is a white supremacist. A natural assumption is that he is white. Now that isn't necessarily true, but it usually is.

You see this in Texas. For a long time, blacks and hispanics have had the numbers to win many elections. But they don't like each other, so can't find common cause. So most elected officials are white. Because both trust whites more than each other. That has been hurting them the past couple of decades because since the Republicans took over, the elected officials have been actively working against the various minorities instead of just ignoring them. That isn't stable.
