Mark, exactly. Cramer's piece was obstensibly supposed to be part of a series about "analyst misses" in 1997.

And yet, is there a greater analyst sector-call miss than Kurlak's declaration of "the best of all hoped for scenarios is developing 4Q" and a 20% upside for the semiconductor stocks on 8/6/97?

When I look at what the $SOX has done from 8/6/97 to the present, I'm inclined to say that it's "quite simply the best there is" <g>
