Dulane U. Ponder. Re: CPQ price. I agree the news has been good on sales of the sub 1k computers. However, it cuts two ways. The conventional wisdom is that the more CPQ sells the less it makes 'cause these lower priced units MUST be hurting margins. That's why (IMHO) Dell has been moving up while CPQ has not.

This same logic goes for Intc. Until the 1Q earnings reports SHOW that CPQ (and the industry) is still selling lots of higher powered systems, and Intc revenues/margins are not getting killed then you will see a change in sentiment.

There was a negative article in the IBD today and also one in the WSJ on sales of the sub 1k.

Hang in there. Add to your position if you can or want to. These "sale" prices won't last forever.
