I would like to see two things happen as a result of this year's general election: a strengthened left wing movement both within the Dem party and outside and an elected Dem president, least of all to make SC appointments--but, obviously, much else.

I think Warren's staying the senate is best for both outcomes. Should she become the vp, her movement voice would be distinctly muted. In the senate she will, no doubt, remain in the leadership, but with a somewhat reduced role, given that Schumer will be the new party leader. But she will have a voice. And I would hope that the Clinton administration would give her a large role in the selection of folk for the major financial cabinet positions. As well was the middle range appointments.

Also, I continue to think she's tempermentally not suited for the vp role; nor for collaborative work with Clinton.
