Dulane U. Ponder. Re: Intc price cuts. I think Intel is putting the pressure on AMD and Cyrix. Remember AMD said it will underprice Intel by 25%. I understand AMD is now shipping their 233's in quantity, and Intel is not letting up on the pressure.

Also, and very important, everytime Intel cuts prices sales of computers go up. EVERY TIME. Without exception. The "Street" does not understand this part of the equation.

With record levels of high consumer confidence and low PC prices this will be good news for sales and profits for Intel and CPQ for sure.
