Yep. Although we have the deadliest military as it is. For example, the F-15, designed in the late 1960s, has never been shot down in combat. Granted, it has had a number of upgrades, but... Despite the claims of Russia and China and their apologists, it isn't clear that their latest and greatest can compete with the F-15, much less the F-22 or the F-35. And then there are the planned gen-6 fighters, which will be obsolete before they fly. Not by other countries, but by us.
