David,

I was wondering if you could comment on a few items.

re: revenue recognition, I understand this occurs upon shipment from the China factory. I was curious how often are the shipments. Daily, weekly or bi monthly.

re: advertizing expense. Since it appears that radica will be doing much more advertizing this year is there way you can identify the increased amount budgeted? How much will it differ from 97?

re: conference call transcript. Will this be available soon? I left a msg w/IR but have not heard back?

TIA & Happy holidays,
Miguel

David -

Much thanks for all the information and help. I was wondering about your two basic types of sales, warehouse and factory. Would it be correct to say that the sales from the factory are generally well-planned compared to warehouse sales which might tend to be last minute purchases to cover unexpected retailer shortages? I was wondering this because you thought there was a trend toward factory sales, which might indicate a more general acceptance and knowledge of the product.

Thanks
larry

Hello David,
I found 1/2 of my question to you from post #1579 on Q1 workers. Your prior post on this topic was #419, for who ever else is wondering. That took a little digging to come up with.
Q4 1996 ended with 1223 workers.
Q1 1997 ended with 923 workers.

Thanks again for your input on this thread that Gary had the insight to start.
