Sounds like you need a transcendental philosopher to tell you that we pursue wisdom in order to achieve the highest possible peace of mind. That's classic Aristotle. I would've posted that on the appropriate thread, but, as you know, I like to question everything, including the question mark itself and that gets me banned from all so-called progressive and right wing threads on SI. I'm still searching for a free-spirited left wing thread on SI. Looks like I may have to eventually set oneself up myself. Problem is there are very few real Left wing free spirits on SI.
