My Friend, Rubber Man:
That looks like my shorting of Zitel.
The last upswing for Zitel was almost disasterous.
Almost was at 30 % equity. Now I am at over 200% equity.
It is better to be safe than sorry.

Your Friend, Michael

<< From the original $10000 ($20000 with margin), 333 shares were shorted. In the end, when the stock is at $10, you have over 9783 shares shorted whose value is worth approximately $89,000! That's almost a 900% return. The thing is, with such a large investment any upswings in price can be disasterous. >>

I knew I could count on some brilliant mind like yours to figure it out. Like the guys on CNBC say, "You should build bridges."

I agree that in theory you could generate several hundred percent but probably not in practice. It was an interesting foray nonetheless.

Now back to regulary scheduled programming. Good short picks.
