Brian, it would seem easy for Intel to prove they make a profit selling a Pentium for $99. It would seem that AMD is the one doing the dumping selling the K6 at a loss.

Dumping generally refers to selling items below their manufacturing costs.

At $99, Intel could still make a profit on their 0.35 micron Pentium II.

For the 0.25 micron version - they could make a very respectable profit on selling Pentium II/233 MHz at $99.
