Steve, As a matter of fact, I do have some things I'd like for you to look into at the Toy show in Vegas. 1. Competition--Especially Tiger--are they coming out with any sports themed product, especially fishing games and how they look(eye appeal is very important) and how are they priced. Do they use motion sensors in their games yet and are their packaging capable of being "tested" by the consumer before buying. 2.New products by the competition--stand back and watch the consumer and buyers-- how do they like the new products. How are their prices and how nice are they packaged. 3. New products from Radica--especially NASCAR--how does is feel in the hand--how does it look(eye appeal), how is it priced. All new products--test them out,ask questions about pricing, distribution(if they will tell you). 4. Look to see which manufacturers have the most people in thier booth, this is many times a good indication as to where the action is. I've done trade shows for many years in another industry, this is a VERY important time for the manufacturers to show their new items. 5. What's new at Hasbro. It would be obvious to see if Radica is producing any of the games(we already know about Trivial Persuit), but go farther, ask them if they expect to expand their line of hand held games for next year. Ask them what's their new hot item for the year, can this be a canidate for a hand held game in the future? Stand back and see how people percieve the new items from Hasbro. Steve, I'd love to be at this show, but I live in Florida, you are the eyes and ears of the thread on this very important show. Take good notes and have fun. P.S. If you just happen upon a person who has a Wal-Mart or K-Mart or any other major chain's BUYER's Badge on stop them and ask what they think of Radica and what their thoughts are for this year's line and if they think they're going to expand their line with Radica.
