Pretty much. The idea that public policy should be shaped around reactionaries so they don't get mad is pretty strange. Especially considering that ammosexuals and Christian bigots are not huge parts of our society. Why should they get to have their way and run roughshod over those of us who are more rational? Personally I hope they rise up in an armed rebellion. Maybe we can finally rid ourselves of the reactionaries.

What I wrote is just common sense. The truth is you know it's impossible to disarm Americans - you said so yourself. But you still like to rant about it and I explained it below: I'm glad you've finally admitted it's impossible to achieve a gun free America. Now, don't you think it would be smart for Democrats to stop talking about it? After all, it just makes gun owners angry and worried Democrats might make it harder to buy guns in the future so they stock up now. Plus it makes gun owners more likely to vote Republican. Do you know how many Americans vote Republican only because they think you Democrats will try to take their guns away? There are a lot of Democrat causes that serve no other purpose than to piss off conservatives and make sure they vote Republican. Forcing Christians to take part in things they object to morally is another one .... trying to force every business to pay for and supply abortificants, fining bakers for not making gay wedding cakes with two little gay liberals on top, etc. There's plenty of places to buy what they want so there's no reason for this but to give Christians the finger. You surely realize that there are Christians who vote Republican just because you Democrats go way out of your way to antagonize and insult them?Maybe a lot of Democrats just want to be obnoxious assholes. Do you think you're one of those?

July 4, 2016 \| Warner Todd Huston \| Print Article An armed grandma garnered praise and amazement by facing down three home invaders saying, “I decided that it’s either them or me.” On Tuesday, June 28, a Boynton Beach, Florida, resident said she heard some commotion outside her front door. According to CBS 12 in West Palm Beach, the resident heard one of the invaders “banging” on her door and ringing her doorbell late that night. Through the security peephole she saw the suspect leave. But soon he returned, this time with his T-shirt over his head. The woman also saw he was “putting on gloves.” She told the media that it was then she ran to get her handgun. As she ran to he bedroom she said she heard the sound of breaking glass as the thugs began to force their way into her home. “It was really scary,” the resident said, adding, “I decided that it’s either them or me, you know.
