Year................New Subscriber (million) 1992................3.5 1993................4.0 1994................7.0 1995................8.2 1996................8.6 The key point of this study is that the growth rates seen the last 2 or 3 years will begin to slow in 1997 as carriers emphasize controlled expansion as the industry matures.
