Cute trick and really a neat; it took two trys to figure it out! Guess when the markets seem predictable and things begin looking obvious, watch your basket of eggs -- or don't play 3-card Monty on 42nd Street.

Andy's Pitchfork seems to be indicating a short-term LB rate increase. The plot is on the other machine; I'll pass it on. It is very interesting how the SI-thread inputs are beginning to polarize in outlook; most are rationally based, which bring us all back to your coin toss analogy doesn't it?

One serious observation, correct me if I am wrong, too many of these TA methods are redundant; not independent variables. Some may be delightfully complex but re-introducing the same variables, disguised with a fancy new name, makes no sense. The end result has given the same factors disproportional weighting. By becoming so complex, one sinks into an incomprehensible quagmire; it is very seductive to confuse complexity with accuracy. The basic methods you and GZ recommend exemplify KISS, are amazing, and you guys and some other participants have the pre-profit postings to prove it.

Chip has been forwarding the mail so I appreciate how tied up you are, and I appreciate your willingness to help us neophytes.

Let's all have a Happy and profitable New Year.

Ciao, Ted
