Sig baby and all:

I think the PC stocks have unfairly taken it on the chin and are trading at a significant discount to future earnings. I like Cpq & Dell in particular. I also think GTW is making a comeback and has a chance of being acquired. I think the Asian woes will not affect the PC makers (as Mikey already stated, the Asian turmoil is a net positive to them because of lower assemble costs in the region). Additionally, the PC makers are the food-chain beneficiary of the tanking of drive prices and the recent Intel price cut. All this spells demand stimulation in the sector with lower component costs and potentially higher margins. Just my $.02.

Have a very Happy and Healthy New Year.

:o)

Sig, <<Looks like they put some of it into bank stocks and have now got enough courage to put some back into the tech stocks for growth..>

Lets hope so since I am long DELL. Another fence guy, that's all I need. Most fences on my land are rusting barb wire. I have removed most of it the rest has been over grown by trees. So I have no problem walking right over it.
