Good morning, Helen:
Happy New Year with all our very best wishes for '98. The excitement builds. We hope that the projections are all conservative and that the company moves forward as it has in '97. When you think about it, '97 has been a pretty exciting year.

BTW, I wonder how many know what you meant by Lucy's VitaMeataVegamin?

Incidentally, the "Little Champ" and her family were here to help us celebrate in fine style. They left yesterday and we miss them all.
Thanks for your good wishes. Would love to see you in Feb. May depend on her spring schedule.

Helen: Thanks for putting up with all our phone calls for the year, I bet it would run in the thousands. ggg

Like many here with over two years of research, the company is always moving forward looking for the latest technology and developing a long term plan many years into the future.

For someone to understand Franklin and Frank Peters the CEO, one needs to look back about 5 years. The word Franklin to me has always rang a bell of "Telephone". Telephone in the 6th-sense of invisioning "how could we use the Internet for conversation", with or patented hardware & software technologies.

I remember quite awhile back that someone close to me said, "frank has always wanted to build a telephone company". With that in mind and the Data Voice Gateway, the patent technologies that few of us here really understand, it looked promising about 18 months ago.

Now with the Intrene contract> Franklin Telecom and the unnamed customer have agreed to form a partnership to share in the
ownership and revenue of the network of Data/Voice System. Franklin's customer has agreed to purchase the initial units, to be delivered according to an agreed upon schedule over the next 6 months, at a cost of $2.5M.
Very few here understand the makeup of this contract and how profitable it will be for Franklin Internet as a "partnership to share in the ownership and revenue of the network" Mega bucks for the Franklin Network, no not today or tomorrow, but like other contracts in the works, it will come in early to mid 98.

So Franks 5 Year-Vision, is coming true and all the parts are being put into place. The competition others refer too have nothing (NADA) TO DO WITH the FRANKLIN INTERNET.

I really doesn't matter, but very few really understand how profitable FNet will be, how high the margins will be, and owning 70% and better of this company will prove in the long run to be quite profitable for FTel.

I think the most important bit of information I could leave to those who think Franklin is not going to get "their market share" is:

Count the local and long distance companies, divide by 8 and the competitive Internet Telephony Companies out there for 98 will not add up to the 1/8 of that amount. ggg PLENTY OF ROOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

That Pie is so large, even 5% will spell "Earning way into the dollars" and thats the bottom line here, THAT WHAT WE WANT!!!!

GoodLuck to all in 98 - You to Jean

ps Jean> being the Lover I am, if there's anyway you needto softing up sweetheart you just let me know.... even if your male, female or otherwise. ggggg
