Don-- are you looking at each index separately and
indepentently to apply you palate of indicators
to come up with predictions, or is there a component
of intermarket analysis, i.e. strength in bonds,
weakness gold, dollar, etc. as a basis for making
your projections of strength and direction?
Does GUITAR stand for your methodology or is
it a series of abreviations that you have
posted before?

Don,
Given this view, I would also add that a short squeeze may drive even this unhealthy market beyond your trading range....waiting to buy puts.

Barbara

Donald,

Re:Also these days in the overbought region can still be substantial up days; they are not limited when they are in the overbought region, in fact these days are sometimes the strongest days.

I've noticed this tendency for prices to rise strongly after becoming overbought. A technique that interests me is to buy as soon as the overbought region is reached, then sell when it becomes extreme for a short and sometimes dramatic gain. Any thoughts about the validity of this technique?
