Good Morning Bill You sure got up early today! Globex went from Naz -1000 to +25 in less than 1/2 hour just now. Was it the Plunge Protection Team attempting to stop any last minute selling? Cheers, Jon

Bill,Off topic.. I just checked open interest on the oex. 39771 contracts for the Jan 470 calls and 2462 for the Jan 470 puts. This huge divergence does not exist for other strike prices.In fact, for the 460's there are more puts. Since the disparity exists only for that strike price, what do you make of this?I know it is not the same as overall p/c ratio as a contrarian indicator, but it sure got my attention.TIA Regards, Barbara

Bill, just so I get this in before the new year... in the spirit of fun, my Dow 98 predictions: hi lo close 9800 7100 9200 and i think that the naz and the russell will do better than the dow. (and sometime this week i'll convert everyone's prediction to this format and post 'em together, including means and medians and stuff if there are enough... anyone with a prediction, or who'd like to submit a new prediction after this run-up we've had, please send it in before midnight eastern time!)
