Barry;
I missed the AGM as I was not a shareholder am just starting my due dilly on this one. I dropped by their offices at 5.45 today and everyone was there. Pres, etc and I spoke for 15 min with the IR guy, Brian Bradbury.

These are the facts from the IR package:
- trades at book value with
- $6.5 million in working capitol
- another 2 million in receivables and securities
- with about 10 million shares issued. - It closed today at $.75. I
- On top of the 12 million which I think is on the high side is
- another 5.1 miilion in warrants exercisable at $3.00 ( $15 million is guarenteed financing if it ever gets there - not really a dilution issue as anyone getting in now would be more than happy to see it hit $3.00+ and some more shares and cash come on board.
- There is also mention of another pp not on the books yet of $2.5Million at $1.50 per share - another 1.75 million shares.
- Nov, 1997 Vol 1.3 issue of Growth stock commentary. Coventry securities, Nassau recommended the stock ( price then $1.20) as a Buy with a 6 month target of $3.00
- around the same time Maedel's mini cap analyst also was speaking highly of their jv with NTI in Nigeria and the revenue potential there.

The IR talk:
I cannot say it was a pile of hype and was a relatively short conversation discussing the current projects. I have a full package and some explanation on the current share price. The last PP was through an Asian group, Quest. With the crisis these gents decided they needed to unload as much stock as they could afford in a period when there really was not much demand. Result is obvious. This is in addition to all of the other pressures that ANo and most other juniors are under.

They have a number of projects well under way in a variety of places and will be renewing some of their Canadian interests shortly

I believe he will be keeping in touch with me as I am in the same town. If you or anyone else has any questions, I would be happy to pose them to him as it is not long distance for me>

FYI their website has not been updated at the email there is no longer valid as I tried it a few weeks ago
IR is Brian Bradbury

Yes folks, this is not exactly a posh Howe street address and I did not see a whole lot of Canacrap brokers in the back room sipping martinis with the management team.

Hello again;

Barry I spoke twice with the company today. I never bought in but will be now. I was concerned over their involvement with NTI in a JV.

I believe that this jv is dead because NTI will never get the financing at 10 cents a share and litigation underway. I also believe that ANo may get some or all of their initial investment back or will try.

I feel that the recent block trades indicate that this may break out. They have a variety of properties and I will be placing an order shortly - either today or Monday. They have some oil plays and that recent Alta aquisition. I have a good feeling and have watched them for a long time in doing my dilly.

Any comments
