You can upload the photo to a reverse image lookup site such as

tineye.com

or

ctrlq.org

or images.google.com and then click on the little camera icon for search by image. I think this is the same search as the previous link.

That will find web pages with the image or perhaps very similar images. Those pages might tell you where the photo was taken.
