All humans prosper when their societies prosper.

Yes, because your equation of supply side economics of low taxes has not worked. Those societies like Kansas, New Jersey and many in the south are failures. The people are too often poor and suffer.

Yes, because all the most successful and humanistic societies have high taxes and large federal governments, with few very rich and few very poor, but a large happy and healthy middle class

All the Nordic countries have high taxes and large "democratic" social services. Like education, police, and strong community services performed per the vote of the people. Many feel they have the most successful societies on earth.

Asia has similar countries Japan, south Korea and Taiwan. And many in Europe do well, Iceland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand., Mongolia?
