In a sense, you are absolutely right. However, there are a lot of racists and bigots in the USA who are drawn to Trump and it is easier to blame others (immigrants) for one's own professional failures, than to take a good hard look inside yourself. But yes, Hillary is so dishonest and such a slime ball and warmonger that some people are actually considering voting for a racist over her. I know it's a very hard concept for many here to digest since we all live in our own worlds in a way and try to shelter ourselves from this kind of thing, but there are a tremendous amount of racists and bigots in the USA. I have ventured out, especially when I was younger and hitchhiked across the country 4 times over the summer (when I was a student) and have personally witnessed it many times. To be sure, I rarely hear this kind of thing in the NYC area unless I am behind closed doors once in a while in a redneck beach town.
