[ List Chat ] Hi, Miles.

I hope it's ok to call you that. I looked for your name at the bottom of your post in case it was different than your SI login name.

>>near the trigger?<<

Trigger is when the Fast Sto line crosses the Slow Sto line. Sto is Stochastics. You mentioned Sto Cross?? That's it ... The Trigger.
Or it could be a different explanation on diff indicators.

>>diamond in the rough, is this good fa with bad ta?<<
No, it's a modified Big Sto scan with high vol and a few tweaks.

>>8to10npl?<<
A Candle Pattern. 8 to 10 New Price Low. One of the Sakata Methods.
Like the 3s Method only it's an 8 to 10 Method. It's reversed from the 3s Up list which is another Modified Sakata Method. The 8 to 10 is a Down moving pattern and should exhaust at 8 10 or 12. But sometimes 6.
The 3s Up is an Up moving pattern in expectation of an 8 to 10 New Price High.

>>what criteria constitute the breakout?<<
A high past the last 30 days high ... I think. May be 45 days. Along with a Ray Seasoning.

No, you were not asking too much. I just wanted to avoid unnecessary explanations.

Happy New Year and ... Welcome to the Thread.
