We had a poll here a while ago and defragging a hard disk in Win10 is no longer necessary [MS does it by itself without fanfare]. Cleaning the registry is outright dangerous. [I haven't done either one since getting Windows 10 a year ago] I'd use "settings" to look further into "network and internet" and "update and security"For "system restore" background info, here's a case with a solution. I would try rebooting the router( power off, wait a few seconds, then power on), then reboot the laptop (full power down and power up; not simply restart). Sometimes after rebooting a router, it can take a computer a little longer than usual to make a connection, so don't be too impatient after the router reboot. B.K.

You should contact the maker of Advanced System Optimizer. They know the program and may be able to help you. I never run any type of optimizer on my computers and I have no problems with them.
