Funny how quiet the thread gets when Compac has a good day. 55 3/4 currently on 2.5 million shares. Not exactly bad news in my book. Perhaps folks are finally realizing that Compac looks pretty good considering: Intel's just announced price drop on PII 233's Compac's strong server products ($20 million contract w/Chevron) CompUSA's release of better than expected sales for quarter Now imagine this, if Compac could sell a PII 233 machine for a grand, would that not give Michael Dell serious heartburn? Heck, I'd even upgrade my old P120 for that price!

I'm in the make money camp, just calling it like I see it. CPU reporting inc. in sales is an important clue to PC sales over all. Greg
